SUN-PSM-Q Series (Square Wave 1.3KVA)

ES-Tech International has dedicated to providing products that are innovative and meet customer needs with a rich of development experience in networked products. This is a PS product that supplies stabilized power for outdoor communication equipment installed in HFC network communication line.
It has been optimized for the installation of poles and is optimized for HFC network power requirements. This product implements CVT circuit using Ferro-Resonant Transformer. It reduces influence of disturbance, and suppresses transient voltage and transient current which can adversely affect load equipment such as brain surge, impulse voltage, etc.
It is a device that is effective for configuring the communication network as stable as possible by supplying power to the communication device

• Implemented AVR function by ferro-resonant transformer, Maintaining of stable output voltage even when input power fluctuates.

☞ What is AVR (Automic Voltage Regulator)?
  - When the input voltage fluctuates or the voltage fluctuation occurs due to the load device, it supplies stable power within a certain range
   by suppressing the rise of the output voltage by utilizing the magnetic saturation characteristic and the resonance phenomenon of the
   transformer itself,

• Output Stability ± 5% Realization
• Similar square wave output reduces the peak current required for telecommunication equipments
• When Output short-circuit and overload occur, it has output cut-off and automatic return function(automatic return within 10 seconds).
• Easily check input and output status with LED display.
• Emergency By-Pass function
• Output voltage selection (63Vac, 75Vac, 87Vac) possible (possible by reconnection of internal connection terminal)

CVT (Constant Voltage Transformer) Description and waveform

- Ferro-Resonant Transformer structure and its output waveform are as shown below.
- By applying the magnetic saturation phenomenon of the transformer, it cuts the peak part of the sine wave and then
outputs the waveform similar to the square wave.
